The Office of Clinical Trials Activation (OCTA) provides centralized services in coverage analysis, budget development and negotiation, and protocol calendar building in the UCSF clinical trial management system (CTMS), OnCore. OnCore is a CTMS that enables the management of research, financial, safety, regulatory, biospecimen, and operational data in one system. OCTA works to increase efficiencies, transparency, and implement improvements throughout the entire clinical trial pipeline process, as well as develop and provide access to dashboards and regular reporting to leadership and stakeholders. OCTA services improve compliance and enable a more rapid activation of clinical trials to increase and improve patient care and provide cutting edge treatment opportunities for our patients and advance our research mission.
